This year's Smallworld™ Americas Users Conference took place on September 25-29 in Chicago, USA. At the conference ASTEC presented services based on the Smallworld™ technology and the newest MDT Professional Edition 3.0.1.

Our presence at the annual meeting of the American GE Smallworld™ users has resulted in a commercial success. We acquired a new customer which purchased MDT licenses and we also have established a number of contacts with companies interested in our services and products.

We would like to thank everyone who visited our booth and thank for a great interest in our offer.

On 10-12 May ASTEC representatives participated at the EMEAI 2011 conference in Salzburg, Austria. At the conference ASTEC presented services based on the Smallworld™ technology and the newest version of MDT Professional Edition 2.2.

4. Scientific Logistics Conference

The 4. Scientific Logistics Conference organized by University of Logistics will take place on 13th May in Poznan. At the conference, which is a forum for ideas exchange and an opportunity to present new logistic solutions, we will present the RTLS system offered by ASTEC. It is a perfect extension of proved identification solutions based on RFID, barcodes etc. If you are interested in it we invite you to the presentation "RTLS vs. RFID – partnership or competition", which will be held as a part of "New technologies in logistics", in room 301, at 13:30.


The first implementation of RTLS in Poland

We are pleased to announce that the Chair of Control and Systems Engineering at Poznan University of Technology is the first customer who purchased the Real Time Location System (RTLS) offered by ASTEC. This system will be used in the construction of mobile robots. We are proud of the fact that the first implementation of the Ubisense RTLS system in Poland will take place at a leading Polish centre of mobile robotics.
