Overview

In 2003 ASTEC begun Research & Development activities and on January 4, 2010 established R&D department. Its mission is to organize access to modern Software Development. Mission is realized by participating as a software developer in international projects, Know-How and R&D results transfer. Rich experience and knowledge gained by ASTEC are used for current activity.

ASTEC participated in the Integrated Project ASG supported by the 6th Framework Programme of EU under the Information Society Technologies (IST).

Furthermore ASTEC participated in the integration and implementation of concepts and technologies by ASG partners.

• ICT-based applications, solutions and services
• Adaptive Internet services in domains of public interests (e.g. education, health, learning, energy, environment)
• Document processing
• Web and multimedia content, learning solutions (e.g. online dictionaries)
• Supporting business processes (e.g. workflow architectures, work optimization)

Cooperation with University of Zielona Gora

In 2006 ASTEC Sp. z o.o. signed agreement with authorities of University of Zielona Gora about cooperation. Agreement concern internships and consultation of thesis for students of Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Telecommunication. That is why we have opportunity to gain qualified specialists from software engineering what enable us to provide professional realization of projects.
