Innovation of 2007

In August ASTEC took part in ‘2007 Innovation’ competition promoting new and modified products, services and innovative projects. The competition was organized under the auspices of Information Processing Centre OPI in Warsaw and FIRE Innovation Center Foundation. ASTEC participated in the competition as the producer of Magik Development Tools (www.mdt-project.net) and took the 9th position in Poland.

In October ScanFile system, which is a highly specialized tool for documents management and storing,  was implementen in Profi Sp.j.  For this developing company it means great improvement in organisation process as well as increase in employees’ effectiveness. 

After the company structure analysis, system implementation proposition was presented and afterwards the system was installed and the employees were trained to operate it.

It's another success in promoting ScanFile in Poland.

On 1st September ASTEC is starting marketing actions aiming at ScanFile promotion and sale.

ScanFile is a comfortable in use document management and archive system for small and medium companies, which is being sold all over the world by selected and experienced specialists.

Premiere presentation of the system on the Polish market will take place on 5th September in ASTEC premises in Zielona Gora. During the presentation a specialist will present our product and explain how document management and archive system can improve your work and influence the enhancement of your business processes. SMALLWORLD User Group 2007

On 22-24th May ASTEC took part in SWUG conference in Cologne. SWUG attracts delegates from leading companies a.o. GE Energy. During the conference we presented our services in Smallworld™ GIS technology. Our lecture about "GIS in Web browser - integration and configuration SIAS services with use of MDT" met with great interest.

ASTEC became an authorized training partner GE Energy.
