On 22-24th May ASTEC took part in SWUG conference in Cologne. SWUG attracts delegates from leading companies a.o. GE Energy. During the conference we presented our services in Smallworld™ GIS technology. Our lecture about "GIS in Web browser - integration and configuration SIAS services with use of MDT" met with great interest.

ASTEC became an authorized training partner GE Energy.

ASTEC has attained GE Training Partner status in the GE Energy "Solution Partner Program". Our offer enlarged by trainings is a next step of collaboration between ASTEC and GE Energy, which main aim is providing our customers with full service in GIS technologies.

ASTEC participates in the conference in Potsdam

ASTEC took part in the conference in Potsdam organized for completion of the ASG (Adaptive Services Grid) research project supported by the 6th Framework Programme of EU under the Information Society Technologies. During the conference the results of international research and development consortium cooperation were presented and summarized. ASTEC within the ASG project was involved in integration and implementation of the project concept as well as supported other partners with experience in software design.

ASTEC has received the internationally recognized ISO 9001:2000 quality certificate from DEKRA. The certificate covers the following areas:

• Software design and development,
• IT systems implementation and maintenance,
• IT consultancy.

We are proud that our products and services comply with the highest quality standards. In order to satisfy our clients, we make every effort to improve the quality management system used at ASTEC. Implementation of the Quality Management System has been financed in 50% of eligible expenditures from appropriations of the European Regional Development Fund, within the confines of the Union for Enterprising People programme.
