The first implementation of RTLS in Poland

We are pleased to announce that the Chair of Control and Systems Engineering at Poznan University of Technology is the first customer who purchased the Real Time Location System (RTLS) offered by ASTEC. This system will be used in the construction of mobile robots. We are proud of the fact that the first implementation of the Ubisense RTLS system in Poland will take place at a leading Polish centre of mobile robotics.

ASTEC is regional leader of innovation and development

ASTEC was awarded the title of "Regional Leader of Innovation and Development – 2010" in the third regional edition of the "National Leaders of Innovation – 2010". The results of the contest were announced on 17.11.2010, in Lubuska Land Museum in Zielona Góra.

The aim of the contest is to identify and promote projects and initiatives with innovative and developing character. The contest was organized by the Foundation of Innovation and Development and under the auspices of Bank Pekao SA. The announcement of the results and the hand over of the certificates was the last point of the seminar "Innovation closer to us”, during which the basic concept of innovation was discussed.

ASTEC is one of the 100 most innovative companies in Poland

ASTEC was recognized as one of the 100 most innovative companies in Poland. The report was prepared on the basis of research conducted by the Institute of Economic Sciences Polish Academy of Sciences and published by the "Polish Market" magazine. ASTEC was ranked 94th among the 100 most innovative companies in Poland. Especially appreciated was ASTEC's contribution in creating MDT (Magik Development Tools).

The ranking is the result of the "Innovation Report of Polish Economy" which was developed for the Innovation Strategy for Poland. Its purpose is the accession of Poland to the group of the most innovative countries in the world by 2020.
