ASTEC at SWUG 2010

On 18-20 May ASTEC will participate in the SWUG 2010 in Bremen, Germany. The MDT team will hold a presentation entitled "MDT vs. Emacs – comparison between development environments”. This presentation will be conducted on May 20, at 9:00. Visit our booth and take a look at the latest version of MDT!

ASTEC at 2010 Smallworld™ EMEAI Users Conference

On 3-5 March ASTEC representatives participated in the EMEAI 2010 conference in Noordwijk, Netherlands. During the conference we presented the newest version of MDT Professional Edition 1.1.

We would like to thank all participants for great interest in our workshop as well as everyone who visited our booth. Meetings with current users and those who are interested in the implementation of MDT were very valuable. Collected hints and remarks will help us a lot to improve our IDE.

On February 11 in the Zielona Góra Palm House the Mayor of the city handed out the Economy Awards to local companies which obtained the best results in 2009.

ASTEC took the first place and received an award in the "Service Company" category. The statuette was given to the Managing Director of ASTEC, Janusz Michalewicz by the Mayor of Zielona Góra, Janusz Kubicki. This award is a distinction for the contribution to the development of the local economy and promotion of Zielona Góra.

ASTEC launches new R&D project

On January 4 the research and development department at ASTEC began working on the new project "MDT Enterprise - Research and implementation of improved version of MDT". The project's aim is to implement new features in MDT (Magik Development Tools) that will result in advanced support of the work of developers, software analysts and project managers.

This project is co-financed under the Operational Program of Innovative Economy action 1.4-4.1 "Support for research and development and implementation of the results of this work".

ASTEC has been awarded with the Smallworld™ Physical Network Inventory certificate by GE Energy. This certificate is a recognition for our knowledge and experience in the field of PNI Smallworld™. That is the result of a close collaboration with GE Energy and the certificate of authorization and recommendation of our services in Smallworld™.
