NewsASTEC launches new R&D projectFriday, 5 March 2010 On January 4 the research and development department at ASTEC began working on the new project "MDT Enterprise - Research and implementation of improved version of MDT". The project's aim is to implement new features in MDT (Magik Development Tools) that will result in advanced support of the work of developers, software analysts and project managers. This project is co-financed under the Operational Program of Innovative Economy action 1.4-4.1 "Support for research and development and implementation of the results of this work". ASTEC is a certified service provider in the Smallworld™ PNI technologyMonday, 7 December 2009 ASTEC has been awarded with the Smallworld™ Physical Network Inventory certificate by GE Energy. This certificate is a recognition for our knowledge and experience in the field of PNI Smallworld™. That is the result of a close collaboration with GE Energy and the certificate of authorization and recommendation of our services in Smallworld™. Our company has provided solutions based on the Smallworld™ PNI technology since many years. The following certificate is a result of our employees’ achievements along with long time experience.
ASTEC at SAUC 2009Tuesday, 10 November 2009 This year's Smallworld™ Americas Users Conference took place on October 18-22 at the Renaissance Glendale Hotel and Spa in Glendale, Arizona. At the conference ASTEC presented services based on the Smallworld™ technology and the new MDT Professional Edition Portable. We were pleasantly surprised by the high number of conference participants interested in our IDE. We would like to thank everybody for the great interest in our presentation and workshop as well as everyone who visited our booth. In particular we would like to thank those who completed our survey, your valuable hints and remarks will help to improve further development of MDT.
ASTEC receives the “Lubusz Business Leader” certificateFriday, 9 October 2009 The first edition of the “Lubusz Business Leader” competition has been summed up on Friday, 11th September, in the philharmonic hall of Zielona Góra. The registered companies were divided in four categories: micro, small, medium and large companies. There were over 50 companies who signed in. Our company took the 9th place among small companies and has been honoured with a certificate. The competition has been organised by the Western Chamber of Industry and Commerce as well as the “Gazeta Lubuska” newspaper and took place under the auspices of the voivodeship marshal. ASTEC is one of the most innovative companies in the Lubusz VoivodeshipTuesday, 30 June 2009 The results of the Most Innovative Companies in the Lubusz Voivodeship were announced on June 2nd. In this year's edition of the ranking ASTEC took the second place. The ranking was organized by the Polish Confederation of Private Employers Lewiatan, BRE Bank, Rzeczpospolita, Manager Magazin and Dun&Bradstreet. The aim of the ranking is to promote innovative companies that are important in their regions, show and promote them in Poland and in the European Union. The European Commission has declared 2009 the European Year of Creativity and Innovation (EYCI).
