2009

ASTEC became certified service provider in the Smallworld™ PNI technology

ASTEC has been awarded with the Smallworld™ Physical Network Inventory certificate by GE Energy. This certificate is a recognition for our knowledge and experience in the field of PNI Smallworld™.

2008

ASTEC at Smallworld™ Americas Users Conference 2008

ASTEC took part in Smallworld™ Americas Users Conference in Hollywood, Florida/USA. During the conference we presented our product Magik Development Tools. 

2007

ASTEC at 2007 EMEA Software Conference ‘Smallworld™ and the Smart Network’

ASTEC participated in Smallworld™ European Users Conference  - 2007 EMEA Software Conference ‘Smallworld™ and the Smart Network’ in Mallorca.

ASTEC became an authorized training partner GE Energy

ASTEC has attained GE Energy Authorized Smallworld™ Training Partner status in the GE Energy ‘Solution Partner Program’.

2006

ASTEC became an authorized partner of GE Energy

ASTEC has attained an authorized Solution Partner status in the GE Energy Solution Partner Program. ASTEC thereby joined an extensive network of local and regional GE Energy business partners worldwide.

ASTEC presents MDT on the SWUG conference in Drezden/Germany

ASTEC took part in the SWUG conference and the exhibition in Drezden/Germany. During the conference we announced our product: Magik Development Tools for Smallworld™ GIS programmers.

2005

ASTEC takes part in the SWUG conference in Kiel/Germany

ASTEC took part in the SWUG conference and the exhibition in Kiel/Germany. This event gave us an opportunity to present our services based on the GE Smallworld™ GIS technology.

ASTEC member of the Smallworld™ User Group

ASTEC became a member of Smallworld™ User Group (SWUG), a GE Smallworld™ users organisation.

2003

Master Service Agreement with GE Energy

In 2003, we signed the Master Service Agreement, a long-term framework agreement with GE Energy for providing services related to the realisation of IT projects involving the GE Smallworld™ GIS technology. This proves our competence in doing projects in GE Smallworld™ technology. The Master Service Agreement contract means that our company is recommended to provide GIS services for General Electric not only in Europe, but also around the world.

2000

Cooperation with GE Network Solutions

In 2000 we established cooperation with GE Network Solutions. The direct cooperation with GENS gave us an immediate access to the latest GIS technologies and enabled us to create a new generation of GIS products.

1998

Establishment of ASTEC GIS Team

ASTEC GIS Team evolved in 1998 from several ASTEC company employees. It consists of specialists in developing, implementing and supporting GE Smallworld™ systems.
