Like every year ASTEC will take part in the EMEAI conference for Smallworld™ users organized by GE Energy. This year, between 15th and 17th May, we will visit the beautiful town of Algarve in Portugal.
ASTEC will present its newest solution providing access to GIS data via mobile devices (online & offline), called Gislet and its tool for development in the Smallworld Magik programming language – MDT (Magik Development Tools).

On 9-10 November in Düsseldorf, Germany ASTEC participated at Pipelinetage 2011. We presented Gislet – an innovative solution enabling mobile access to the network infrastructure and supporting projects carried out in the field. Gislet is designed for users of the GE Smallworld™ technology and is the first solution dedicated to tablets and smartphones based on Android which can also work without access to the Internet.

This year's Smallworld™ Americas Users Conference took place on September 25-29 in Chicago, USA. At the conference ASTEC presented services based on the Smallworld™ technology and the newest MDT Professional Edition 3.0.1.
